Please be sure to look at the 10 digit number on the plate (arm) portion of the hinge (the part that attaches to the side of the cabinet). The hinge is salvageable with a new plasticspring piece.This condition exists in about 40 of this type of broken hinges. These conditions exist in about 60 of this type of broken hinges.the plastic portion is broken.Įither has sections missing or the springs inside are missing or weak. The hinge is not rebuildable and should be replaced. If they are not closing or closing by themselves they are probably broken.ĭont throw yours away The most common reasons are.the metal portion of the hinge is broken or cracked.
